Steven Pienaar , South Africa's unquestionable main man . Steven plays attacking midfielder , he's a hard runner , has limitless energy and indomitable spirit . He can do it all pass , dribble , whip a deadly cross or go in for a goal himself. Pienaar , commonly know as "The Mighty Peanut" , came throught the ranks of Ajax Cape Town. Our country percieves me and my group because we all know that South Africa is a poor country , and we know how important the sport is to them. The people living in South Africa look up to there countrys soccer team. Our expectations are to try our hardest and hopefully go all the way and win it , we have big expectations for South Africa . We are all excited to see how hard our team will go in and play. All the people will be very proud of there team for winning it for there country and i think it would be very exciting and emotional because everyone would love to see there countrys soccer team win the World Cup. They would probably love to brag that there country won it all , and it might make South Africa more famouse and it might raise some money for there country. If we loose then it might make people sad because they were really expecting a lot from there team, but everyone would atleast be proud that there team made it that far. For the people who live for soccer would probably be upset because they want there countrys team to good, but i dont think it would cause any harm to our country , people might just be mad or sad for a while because it is the world cup and it only comes around every 4 years, it would probably even make everyone more mad because the world cup is held in South Africa and thats our country.
